What Advanced Renamer does
Advanced Renamer is a Blender add-on that takes the tedium out of naming objects in a busy scene. Instead of renaming one item at a time, you pick a mode and apply it to a whole selection, or click objects in the order you want them numbered.
Modes include standard renaming with a base name, prefix, suffix, numbering or alphabetic suffixes, plus find and replace and text insertion at a chosen position. Formatting options handle uppercase, underscores, padding and start values. Presets can live in the project or in your global user configuration, and the panel sits in the 3D Viewport sidebar. It suits anyone cleaning up imported models or preparing game assets.
