Advanced Selection
Developer: Gregor Urabl
After Effects tool that selects layers by type, blending mode, label color, name, parent status and more.
What Advanced Selection does
Advanced Selection by Gregor Urabl extends how layers are chosen in After Effects. Rather than clicking through the timeline, you set filters and let the tool select everything that matches, whether within one comp or across the project.
Filters include layer types, blending modes, label colors, name searches, and states like adjustment, null, guide, 2D or 3D, motion blur, track mattes, even or odd position and parenting. Four scope options run from the active comp to all comps recursively. Extras control visibility, solo and lock, and a NOR mode inverts combined filters.
