Traces the alpha shapes of texture atlases into real mesh cards.

What Atlas2Mesh does

Atlas2Mesh takes a texture atlas and converts the visible shapes in its alpha channel into actual geometry. Instead of leaving transparent sprites on large quads, it makes tight mesh cards that follow the outline of each element.

This is useful for foliage, particles and sprite-style assets in real-time projects, where cutting away empty pixels reduces overdraw. Artists preparing atlas-based assets get cleaner cards without drawing outlines by hand.

Key features

  • Traces alpha outlines
  • Creates mesh cards from atlases
  • Reduces empty quad area
