What AutoCaption does
AutoCaption listens to the audio in a clip and builds captions directly inside After Effects. Language is detected automatically across more than 100 options, and right-to-left scripts such as Arabic and Hebrew are fully supported, while Chinese, Japanese and Korean can be animated character by character.
More than 60 animated caption styles are provided, with highlighting that follows each word as it is spoken. Audio is extracted locally, so there is no file size limit, and it works with MP4, MOV, MKV, WebM, MP3, WAV, M4A and FLAC. Everything can run offline. Requires CC 2019 or later up to 2026.
