BOOM Library Gun Handling concentrates on the mechanical noises of weapons rather than the shots. It contains more than 1,700 sounds in 296 files, about 2 GB, covering 14 firearms: assault rifles, submachine guns, pistols, revolvers, bolt-action rifles and shotguns.
Foley includes safety clicks, magazine inserts, bolt pulls and grip adjustments. Recordings are dry and acoustically uncolored so you can add your own convolution reverb and spatial treatment, and each file offers six consistent variations. UCS naming and streamlined metadata help with searching. Files are 24-bit, 96 kHz WAV for After Effects, Premiere Pro and similar tools.
