BOOM Library Swamps presents unprocessed field recordings of Florida wetlands, made with the publisher's ORTF 3D system using Schoeps microphones and Sound Devices recorders. Frogs, alligators, insects and water textures are all present, with no heavy processing or noise reduction.
Wildlife is captured naturally: frogs at several distances, feeding egrets and ibises, alligator territorial bellows near and far. Close mud squelches sit beside wide ambiences for dawn, night and passing storms. Files are 24-bit, 96 kHz WAV in 3D Surround, optimized for Atmos and VR, and Stereo, with PDF and XLS metadata.
