BoringDashes
Developer: Danimate
A free After Effects tool for creating and adjusting dashed strokes more simply.
What BoringDashes does
BoringDashes, by Danimate, takes the fiddliness out of dashed lines in After Effects. It gives you a simpler and more efficient way to create dashed strokes and keep control of them afterwards.
It is free, and the initial 1.0 version came out in October 2023. It supports After Effects 2020 through 2024, making it a quick helper for motion designers drawing dotted or dashed outlines, connectors and borders. Dashes are a frequent need in infographics and technical animation, so a focused tool can save repeated setup.
