What Break It does
Break It! from MotionCodes smashes layers into fragments directly in After Effects, without relying on additional plugins. Artists decide how many pieces appear, how far apart they scatter, and how strongly gravity pulls them.
Breaking force has both direction and intensity, with a separate force possible for each part, while explosion wave and viscosity can be set per piece. Particle size and count are adjustable, markers allow several breaks in different places, and front and back images let you place the scene behind the break. Useful for impact moments, title smashes and transitions.
