What Calc AE does
Calc AE is a small calculator from Freshmograph made specifically for timecode math. Rather than switching to a separate app or doing frame arithmetic in your head, you can add and subtract timecodes right inside After Effects.
It pulls in the composition's frame rate automatically so results stay accurate, and you can also type values by hand. Timecode Assist Tools insert common values, while Shift plus Calculate opens settings and can toggle the math operations row. It is useful to editors and animators handling durations and deliveries.
