CHR0MA
Developer: Noah Greene
Oklab-based replacement for the Hue/Saturation effect in After Effects and Premiere Pro.
What CHR0MA does
CHR0MA is a drop-in alternative to Adobe's built-in Hue/Saturation effect. Instead of the standard method, it performs adjustments using Oklab colour science, a perceptual model that keeps hues and brightness more natural when colours are shifted.
The layout has been improved over the original control, and the results are better than the stock effect it replaces. It works in both After Effects and Premiere Pro from CC 2017 through 2026, so editors and motion designers can use the same tool for hue and saturation changes in either application.
