Cinema Letterbox
Developer: The Stale Crouton
Adds a compositor node in Blender that applies cinema letterbox bars in four standard widescreen ratios.
What Cinema Letterbox does
Cinema Letterbox applies black bars through the compositor. Drop the node into your chain, choose a widescreen cinema format, and set bar opacity and color.
The four ratios are 1.85:1, 1.92:1, 2.35:1 and 2.40:1. It works with Cycles and Eevee and gives renders a film look. Since it is a node, it can be switched on and off or repositioned in your compositing chain. Editors and animators can give a render a theatrical frame in a single node, rather than painting bars in another program.
Key features
- Four widescreen cinema ratios
