Cinemaplugins LAZPoint brings LIDAR data into Cinema 4D. It opens LAS, LAZ, XYZ and PTS files directly, can export to LAS and LAZ, and handles hundreds of millions of points in the viewport in real time, even on moderate hardware.
A virtual laser scanner object scans any Cinema 4D scene as though a real scanner were being used, and the LAZRender engine draws classic 2D points as well as new 3D points. Surveyors, visualization artists and designers of scan-style graphics can use real or simulated point clouds in their scenes.
