What Colorize Objects does
Colorize Objects gives each selected mesh a custom viewport color in Blender with a single click. It only affects display colors, so materials and shaders remain unchanged and nothing needs undoing later.
Smart Color Management randomizes or cycles through your palette without repeating colors until necessary. The palette is fully customizable, with as many colors as you want to add, remove or tweak. It helps tell similar objects apart while blocking out geometry, organizing a busy scene or reviewing a model with others.
