CompsFromSpreadsheet 5 by Michael Cardeiro is a script for After Effects that produces many versions of a composition from a spreadsheet template. Each row maps data onto layers, which suits localization, personalized graphics and other batch variants.
Non-text layers whose names start with # are swapped for the project item named in the spreadsheet, and precomp layers starting with ! pass data to inner layers. Layers replaced by compositions can receive data too. Output Module and Render Settings can be set from the sheet, comp length can follow layer length, and an import directory can be defined.
