What Cracker does

Cracker breaks real geometry in Blender: pick an object, hit Ctrl+W, tune the appearance and confirm. The developer vfxguide also includes related tools for impacts and breaking glass.

A rigid body simulation can settle the cracked pieces onto the floor, which needs a passive rigid body ground object in the scene. The Stomper tool rotates objects to imitate impact on horizontal surfaces, and Material Breaker shatters windows on Blender 3.4 or later. Environment and VFX artists can damage walls, floors and glass quickly.
