What CropROI does
CropROI is an After Effects script by Aris Melachroinos that trims a precomposition down to its Region of Interest. Normally, cropping a precomp shifts how its layer sits in the parent composition; this script keeps the position unchanged.
Add a Region of Interest inside the precomp, select the precomp layer, and press the CropROI button. It works with Adobe After Effects CS6 and later. It is useful for reducing render area and keeping heavy comps efficient.
