CRTX
Developer: Plugin LyfeX
Reactive CRT monitor simulation for After Effects and Premiere Pro that responds to footage motion and light.
What CRTX does
CRTX recreates the look of a cathode-ray tube by redrawing each frame the way a scanning beam would. What appears on screen depends on the footage, with scan structure, mask patterns, bloom and glow changing with motion, brightness and edges.
Instability can be dialed in as colour smear, sync tears and analog signal chaos. Controls are grouped into Electron Beam, Surface and Phosphor sections, with Tube Physics, Power State, Style, Color Grading, Geometry and Camera sections. Glitch & Instability, Circuit Bending and Audio sections add more character, and a CRTX Library supports import and export, plus quality, performance and GPU options.
