Curve Fitting
Developer: zuda77
Blender add-on that smooths uneven vertex arrangements by fitting them to a polynomial curve or surface.
What Curve Fitting does
Curve Fitting evens out irregular vertex layouts in Blender without changing the overall form. Chosen vertices are pulled onto a polynomial approximation of a curve or surface, and the add-on picks which from your selection.
Curve Degree controls the polynomial order, capped at 1000; larger values follow more complex shapes but lose simplicity. Ends Weight adjusts how strongly the start and end points are held. Modelers cleaning scanned or hand-built edge loops get smoother results.
Key features
- Fits vertices to polynomial curve or surface
- Automatic curve or surface choice
- Curve Degree up to 1000
- Ends Weight control
