Curves To Mesh
Developer: Mark Kingsnorth
Blender add-on that builds mesh surfaces from bezier curve networks using surface, profile and sweep modes.
What Curves To Mesh does
Curves To Mesh turns networks of bezier curves into usable surfaces in Blender, by Mark Kingsnorth. The surfaces convert into regular meshes that can be refined with the usual modeling tools.
Surface to Mesh fills a quad surface bounded by four snapped curve segments, Profiles to Mesh lofts between cross sections, and Sweep to Mesh runs shapes along a guide curve. A real-time preview updates as curves are edited, and options include mirroring, smoothing and control over density. Designers who think in curves, such as for car bodies or vases, can build forms intuitively.
