Curviblend
Developer: Robert Natoli
Blender surface patching toolkit that builds quad surfaces from curves and meshes.
What Curviblend does
CurviBlend creates clean quad-based surfaces from curves and meshes through a non-destructive workflow. It suits hard-surface modeling, game assets, 3D printing and architectural visualization.
Objects are organized into groups, and loop finding generates the shortest closed loop of Bezier curves connecting them. Patching works from a group or any selection of two or more curves, with a fast bilinear (G0) or tangent-smooth bicubic (G1) option. Boundary control, curve rectification and snapping are included, and settings update live through a modal workflow in the N-Panel.
Key features
- Group-based non-destructive workflow
- Automatic closed-loop curve finding
- Bilinear G0 or bicubic G1 patches
- Live modal settings with boundary control
