Automatically tracks footage with OpenCV in Blender and refines the camera solve.

What CV Auto Track does

CV Auto Track brings OpenCV-based feature tracking into Blender's motion tracking workflow. It finds and follows markers on a clip automatically, saving the tedious step of placing them manually.

After tracking, it can refine the camera solve, which helps when matching a virtual camera to live-action footage. VFX artists and compositors doing match-moving inside Blender get a quicker route from raw clip to a usable solved camera.

Key features

  • OpenCV-based automatic tracking
  • Solve refinement after tracking
  • Fits Blender's movie clip editor
  • Quick match-move starting point
