Blender add-on that adds Damped Track constraints down a bone chain in one click, with a stepped influence gradient.

What Damped Track Chain does

Damped Track Chain builds a following effect along a skeleton chain in Blender. Select the root bone or bones and each child bone receives a Damped Track constraint that aims at its direct parent.

Influence can be graded along the chain by giving a starting value and a step, so motion becomes progressively stronger or weaker toward the tip. Riggers creating tails, tentacles, antennae and similar flexible appendages avoid adding constraints bone by bone.
