Digital Anarchy Flicker Free

Developer: Digital Anarchy

Removes flicker from time lapse, slow motion, LED banding and drone footage without pre-analysis.

What Digital Anarchy Flicker Free does

Flicker Free tackles the brightness pulsing that plagues time lapse sequences and other footage. It runs in After Effects, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve and other supported hosts, applying presets matched to the kind of footage you have by simply dragging one onto a clip.

No pre-analysis pass is needed. Motion Compensation and Detect Motion rely on optical flow to tell apart objects that move on their own, even if the camera also moves. It handles slow-motion flicker, rolling bands from LED or fluorescent lighting and drone shots, and supports GPU acceleration. Hosts include Final Cut Pro X 10.5 and later, Avid AVX2 and other OpenFX applications.

Key features

  • Drag-and-drop presets for different footage types
  • No pre-analysis step
  • Optical flow motion detection and compensation
  • Fixes time lapse, slow motion, rolling bands and drone flicker
  • GPU acceleration across many hosts
