Dimensions And Lines
Developer: jan.holinka
Blender add-on for drawing technical dimensions and blueprint-style layouts as real, renderable geometry in the viewport.
What Dimensions And Lines does
Dimensions And Lines lets you annotate and lay out technical drawings right inside Blender's 3D viewport. Unlike overlay-only measurements, the dimensions and lines are real scene geometry, so they can be rendered with everything else. This listing is a legacy 1.1.0 build.
Length dimensions are created directly in the viewport with realtime preview, snapping and offset control. An orthographic camera setup calculates render resolution to match your drawing. Architects, product designers and anyone producing blueprint-style images from a 3D model can use it to produce clear, measured output.
Key features
- Length dimensions placed in the 3D viewport
- Realtime dimensioning with snapping and offset
- Dimensions kept as renderable geometry
- Orthographic camera with calculated resolution
