What Disassembler And Nesting does
Designed for people who build furniture or cabinets in Blender and then have to make them for real, this add-on turns a finished 3D model into a cut-ready layout. Parts are duplicated and flattened onto the XY plane, sorted by width and length.
Parts of equal dimensions get one color, and every row has a common thickness. The nesting step arranges the panels on a sheet with adjustable sheet dimensions and saw kerf. Volume, mass and surface area can be calculated, sizes can be written into each plank, and results export as CSV for spreadsheets or DXF for CAD, with a scale setting. Documentation is included.
