What Dovetail Key does
Dovetail Key is a Blender plugin for 3D printing large models. You draw a line or freehand curve, and it slices the model there, affecting only geometry beneath the stroke, then connects the parts with a dovetail key.
Freehand Cut lets the cut follow any curve you draw. The key locks the pieces together, and the process takes two clicks. Handy for fitting big prints on a small bed. It simplifies assembly after printing.
