Draw A Mesh
Developer: Shuhan
Blender add-on that builds 3D models from lines you sketch with the annotate pencil, with twist and array options.
What Draw A Mesh does
Shuhan's Draw A Mesh offers a sketch-first way to model. Draw a few curves in the viewport with the annotate pencil and generate a model from all of them in one step.
Lines may be erased, redrawn and rebuilt, and a twist button rotates individual splines at different angles. Release 1.1 added a circular array centered either on the 3D cursor or on the model, plus mirroring through Mirror_Center. It is a lively way to produce vases, columns and other symmetrical shapes.
Key features
- Annotate pencil drawing becomes a model
- Several lines modeled in one pass
- Erase, redraw and remodel
- Per-spline twist
- Circular array and mirror (v1.1)
