What Edge Ai does
Edge AI converts picture content into 3D geometry inside Blender.
It combines advanced image segmentation with traditional canny edge detection to recognize objects, then creates meshes with materials. Two workflows are offered, Recognize Everything and Recognize Main Shape. Quick access to extrude, join objects and separate by loose parts helps adjust the results. It is aimed at users who want to turn flat concept images or sketches into editable starting geometry, which can then be refined with ordinary modeling tools in the same session.
