Edgeweaver
Developer: NizamNet
Joins edge loops of different vertex counts into tidy quads and previews the flow live on the GPU.
What Edgeweaver does
Edgeweaver tackles a common topology headache in Blender: joining two edge chains that have different numbers of vertices. It builds quad bridges automatically, adding resolution where needed.
Reduction patterns such as 5-to-3, 4-to-1, 3-to-2 and 2-to-1 handle the transitions, backed by hybrid, loop and fallback solvers. A real-time GPU overlay lets you see the edge flow before committing. Retopologists and hard-surface modelers can save a great deal of manual edge work.
Key features
- Auto quad bridging for unequal edge chains
- Reduction patterns including 5-to-3 and 4-to-1
- Density solving that injects resolution
- Real-time GPU flow overlay
