Elastic Comp Changer
Developer: Mathieu Glatigny
Changes composition duration in After Effects while shifting keyframes, markers and nested pre-comps to match.
What Elastic Comp Changer does
Elastic Comp Changer by Mathieu Glatigny is an After Effects script for lengthening or shortening a composition without breaking its timing. Plus and minus buttons add or remove frames from the current duration.
Keyframes after the playhead can be offset, as can layer and comp markers, and changes can apply to locked as well as unlocked layers, including keyframes in inactive layers. Layer start times after the playhead can be modified, In and Out points can move while keeping start times, and an options window adjusts behaviour. Nested pre-comps are updated too. Animators retiming a finished piece will avoid manually dragging every keyframe.
