What Face 3D does
Face 3D from Nataworkstudio converts still portraits and photos into real 3D models that can be animated, available for both After Effects and Blender. It saves the manual work of sculpting or projecting a face to get a subtle camera move out of a single image.
Depth comes from several selectable AI models, among them Depth Scanner 2, Quick Depth 3, Marigold, Distill-any-depth and Depth-anything-v2-small, and depth maps can also be imported from a local folder. Scenes can be relit, and the result exports as an OBJ with a smooth mesh and smaller file size. A Blender integration and a themed interface are included.
