Compact text animator for After Effects designed to be used without a tutorial.
What GoType does
GoType is a text animator for After Effects from Ebberts + Zucker. Its main goal is simplicity: the tool is small and arranged so that a user can start animating type without reading a tutorial first.
It works with a wide spread of After Effects versions, from CC 2017 through 2026. The current release is version 1.06, updated in November 2025, and a demo video is available for anyone who wants a quick look first. It suits designers who need quick text motion without learning the animator system in depth.
