Grease Pencil From Mesh
Developer: Sahin Ersoz
Blender add-on that converts meshes to 3D Grease Pencil objects or curves, with filtering of edges and material color transfer.
What Grease Pencil From Mesh does
Grease Pencil From Mesh turns mesh objects into Grease Pencil strokes or Curves, a useful step for building line-art looks from 3D models. Edge filtering lets you choose which lines make it across, such as sharp edges, intersections and outlines of curved surfaces.
Edges marked Crease, Sharp or Freestyle can be converted selectively, and mesh material colors carry over to Grease Pencil colors. Illustrators and animators who mix 3D and 2D styles can use it to get an editable drawn version of their geometry.
Key features
