Grease Pencil to Curves
Developer: DadsCastle
Blender add-on that converts Grease Pencil strokes into curve objects or hair curves with smoothing and decimation.
What Grease Pencil to Curves does
Grease Pencil to Curves converts hand-drawn strokes into curve geometry in Blender. One button converts strokes, smoothing the lines and reducing vertices as it goes.
Each Grease Pencil layer becomes its own curve object, and a resulting curve can become a hair curve attached to a chosen mesh surface and aligned to it. Options cover curve type, smoothing and decimation, and curves can be resampled to add points. Illustrators and groomers can sketch shapes or hair flow and make them 3D.
