What Hide By Type does
Hide By Type quickly clears or restores categories of objects in a Blender scene. Rather than selecting items one at a time, you hide or unhide everything of a chosen type.
Empties can be hidden to also cover images and force fields. It works with Blender 2.8 through 4.2, is released under the GPL license and comes with documentation. Handy for decluttering the viewport when cameras, lights or empties get in the way of modeling.
