What Imagepaste does
Imagepaste connects the system clipboard with Blender. Copy a picture anywhere and paste it into the 3D Viewport, the Image Editor, the Shader Editor, where it becomes an image node, or the Video Editor.
It works in the other direction as well, copying images from Blender to the clipboard for use in other programs. That removes the save-and-browse steps usually needed to bring in references or textures. Documentation is provided by the developer.
