Inverse Lock Bone
Developer: Soyoyo
A Blender add-on that locks a bone by recomputing the root bone position, handy for pinning feet in mocap.
What Inverse Lock Bone does
Inverse Lock Bone fixes foot sliding in motion capture work in Blender. Instead of keeping the root where it is, it locks a chosen bone in place and recalculates where the master or root bone must be to make that happen.
Four lock types are provided: Head, Tail, Center and Entire. The first three recompute the root location, while Entire also recomputes the locked bone's rotation. The result is keyed on every frame, and those keys can be thinned out in the Graph Editor. It runs in pose mode from the bone properties. Animators cleaning up mocap will find it effective.
