What Kashida Pro does
Kashida Pro serves designers who set Arabic, Kurdish, Persian and Urdu text. It applies Kashida, the elongation of letter joins, according to typographic rules, so logos, posters and longer passages look visually balanced instead of unevenly spaced.
A Smart Placement Engine decides where to stretch, Tashkeel marks are handled automatically, and further controls allow fine adjustments. The Balanced Distribution slider nudges text toward a chosen number of lines. Persian and Urdu modes include rule overrides, and an Alt+Click Smart Apply works in After Effects, Illustrator and Photoshop, versions 2022-2026.
