Magnolia
Developer: simonsanchezart
A Blender hard-surface toolset for edge bevels, mesh inspection, edge alignment and export to Unity and Unreal.
What Magnolia does
Magnolia, by simonsanchezart, collects tools for hard-surface and game asset modeling in Blender. Its beveler adds, modifies and bakes edge bevels into normal maps, and a non-destructive vertex snapper supports blocking and grey-boxing.
Non-planar faces can be displayed to avoid shading issues, selected edges align to world axes, and the Mesh Inspector reports flipped normals, non-manifold geometry, intersections, tris, n-gons and more. Selected objects can be exported to Unity and Unreal Engine within the same workflow. Game artists who want modeling checks and export in one add-on will find it practical.
Key features
- Beveler that bakes bevels into normal maps
- Non-destructive vertex snapper
- Mesh Inspector for normals, non-manifold and n-gons
