What mamoworld Pins & Boxes does
Pins & Boxes helps motion designers make layouts that respond when text changes or elements are resized. It works with two ideas: pins that attach to a layer's edges, and boxes that expand to enclose their pins.
Pins are small shape layers that move with their parent layer as it changes, and other layers can be parented to them. Boxes can be shape layers, solids or precomps. Borders are set as percentages of the box rather than pixels, and a shape box can draw just a line. Layouts survive in Motion Graphics Templates, updating in Premiere Pro when the text changes, even on machines without the plugin. Nesting, KBar and scripting are supported.
