MaskShapeConverter
Developer: ALINCO
After Effects script that converts masks to shape layers and shapes back to masks with keyframe support.
What MaskShapeConverter does
MaskShapeConverter from ALINCO moves path data both ways between masks and shape layers in After Effects. Keyframes are carried through the conversion.
A Merge Shapes setting keeps appearance consistent even when additive and subtractive masks are mixed. The new shape layer becomes 3D when the source layer is 3D, can sit above or below the original with the anchor point centered, and can be set as a track matte with Alt or Opt click. Rounded corners in polygonal paths are supported.
