Blender add-on that imports and exports MDD point-cache files as mesh shape keys.

What NewTek MDD format does

NewTek MDD format connects Blender with the MDD animation cache format, converting files to and from mesh shape keys. It formerly came with Blender 4.1 and is now maintained on its own.

The commands are in the File > Import-Export menu, and the add-on needs file access to the folder holding MDD files. It is distributed under GPL v2 or later. Animators moving baked deformation between Blender and other 3D software can carry simulations or sculpted animation across.
