What Nla Strip Merger - Baking Better does
NLA Strip Merger tidies the Non-Linear Animation editor by combining several selected strips into one. It applies animated influence and animated time into the merged result, creates and names a new action, and removes the old strips.
Modifications such as stepped interpolation, time changes and looping carry over. Baking improves too: the selected object and its bones are baked together instead of one or the other, and any valid animation data can be baked. Animators with cluttered NLA stacks, or who need to flatten animation for export, will save considerable cleanup effort.
