What Node Connector Add-On does

Node Connector removes the long, fiddly cable dragging in large node trees. Choose up to five target nodes ahead of time, then link any active node to one of them with a single command.

Targets are picked from a dropdown in the side N panel, which also has Connect to Target buttons, and a right-click Node Connector menu offers the same actions. Distance and position do not matter. Shader and compositing artists working in sprawling graphs will wire things up much faster.
