Object Origin Mover
Developer: joe3dm
Blender add-on to move object origins interactively with snapping, using the E key.
What Object Origin Mover does
Object Origin Mover makes repositioning an origin a quick interactive step in Blender's Object Mode. Select any number of objects, press E, shift the origin, and confirm; all selected objects update together.
It builds on Blender's own move operator, so axis locks, snapping and rotation behave as expected. Snap targets include vertices, edges and edge midpoints, and the Blender 5.1 build adds face centers. Existing snap settings are overridden briefly and then restored. The hotkey can be changed in keymap preferences, and documentation comes with it.
Key features
- Interactive origin moving on multiple objects
- Axis constraint and rotation support
- Snaps to vertices, edges and midpoints
- Restores prior snap settings
- Remappable E hotkey
