Object Version Control
Developer: 5 Minutes Blender
Gives each object in a Blender scene its own version history, stored inside the same .blend file.
What Object Version Control does
Object Version Control brings versioning to individual objects rather than whole files. Each object in your scene gets its own history, and it all stays inside the one .blend file.
A new version is created whenever the file is saved and an object has changed. A Versions tab in the N-panel lets you step with Previous and Next, jump to the oldest or latest version, or go to a specific one. Modelers who iterate on assets and want to return to earlier states benefit.
Key features
- Per-object version history
- Version created on save if changed
- Versions tab in the N-panel
- Prev/Next, Oldest and Latest navigation
