OnMic
Developer: Where To Podcast
Automatically cuts multicam podcast footage to the active speaker, snapping cuts to natural pauses.
What OnMic does
OnMic handles the first pass of multi-camera podcast editing in Premiere Pro. It listens to each person's isolated microphone track, works out who is talking and cuts the multicam sequence to the matching camera, placing each edit at a natural pause.
Dead air is trimmed during the process, and reaction shots can be added by cutting to a listener during a pause before returning to the speaker. On-device AI face and voice detection works out which camera shows which person, and a speaking-balance report is produced. Podcast producers get a rough cut in minutes instead of hours.
