What Open With does
Open With is a Blender add-on from Flidoh Animations for moving a project between Blender versions. From File > Open With, a click launches the current .blend file in a different installation without hunting for it manually.
The version dropdown detects every Blender install on the system, including custom ones on other drives. It also compares the target version's add-on folder against your enabled add-ons and flags any that are missing, with a one-click Transfer button. Crash detection is built in as well. It helps people who test files in beta releases or maintain projects across several Blender versions.
