What Packfold does
BlenddON's Packfold removes the manual work of making folding packaging. Import a DXF dieline, create the mesh and rig its folds with a single click.
The imported mesh has clean, structured geometry. Rigging finds the fold lines, builds the armature, positions bones per face and paints weights precisely. Packaging designers and motion artists who need box-opening animation can go from flat dieline to finished animation fast. Because the folds are rigged, the carton can be opened, closed and flattened again with simple controls.
