What Planetgen does
PlanetGen, from developer chery, creates 3D planets inside Blender. It is aimed at space scenes and sci-fi visuals where a planet is needed as a focal point or backdrop without sculpting and texturing one by hand.
The current release is version 2.1. It supports Blender 3.0 through 4.0, is released under the GPL and includes documentation, plus a demo video. Hobbyists and artists building space imagery will find it a convenient starting point.
